Pecan Orchard Our Young Orchard
Our young pecan orchard enjoys the right location with well-drained soil, adequate sunlight and access to water harvested from our farm. The soil has been well prepared and cleared of debris and stones to ensure proper nutrient levels. The spacing between the trees is such that they can grow and be well maintained. Our regular pruning promotes healthy growth to control the size and shape of the trees. Pest and disease control is critical to the success of the orchard and we do it in a natural and sustainable way. Our regular scouting and monitoring of trees helps identify and prevent potential problems before they become serious.

Our approach Patience and Care
Growing a pecan orchard requires patience and care. It can take several years for pecan trees to mature and produce a significant yield, and proper care and management is critical to the health and productivity of the plantation. Rushing the process or neglecting proper care can result in lower yields, poor nut quality, and increased susceptibility to pests and diseases. Patience is needed to allow trees to develop and mature, while ensuring they are properly nourished, watered and protected from pests. With patience and care, we want to ensure that our high-yield pecan orchard can be successfully maintained for years to come.
THE RIGHT ENVIRONMENT "Maropeng", Cradle of Humankind
Maropeng is a world-renowned tourist attraction in the Cradle of Humankind World Heritage Site in South Africa. The site is of great paleontological and archaeological importance as it contains some of the earliest hominid fossils ever discovered. Our farm is located at the cradle of humankind and enjoys the historical significance of Maropeng. Maropeng is a significant area representing human evolution and is our inspiration and foundation for our farming approach. We take from the earth and give back with care.
